Child Support
The parent who has primary physical custody of their child/ children is entitled to child support. NYS uses percentages of the non-custodial parents’ income and takes into account the number of children to determine the amount of support. While this may sound simple, difficulty can arise when the non-custodial parent is self-employed. I have over 30 years’ experience in child support matters.
